About Us:
It began as Hill Fest in the year 1986 as an intra-TAPMI event which then transformed into an inter-B school fest, Summit, for the first time in the year 1996. The radical change came through in the year 2002, when Summit was transformed to its current majestic avatar, Atharva.
TAPMI’s Flagship Event has since then positioned itself as a competitive platform for serious festing across all the major Business Domains i.e. Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Entrepreneurship. Currently into its 31st year Atharva has consistently managed to engage participation from over 4000 participants across some of the Top-Ranking B-Schools like the IIM’s, TISS, NMIMS, MDI, SIBM-P to name a few and partner itself with various Corporates.
Atharva brings together business sense and logic coupled with imagination, enthusiasm and passion that transforms an ordinary B-School graduate to becoming an absolutely phenomenal one.

Sankalp, the Business Plan Competition, provides an avenue for budding and daring entrepreneurs to envisage, analyze and then transform their business ideas into reality. The event tests the business acumen and feasibility of the plans through rigorous rounds that test their application skills across all domains of management. Over the years Sankalp has seen incubators like NASSCOM and Start-Up Oasis mentor the participants and take the best under their umbrella.

inFINity
InFINity, the Finance vertical of TAPMI Atharva, is a unique event which challenges the top finance brains in the country. inFINity has been applauded for pushing contestants into the shoes of top-brass finance professionals, and test them in areas of Trading, Corporate Governance, Mergers and Acquisitions etc. inFINity has been a regular partner with BSE, Dalal Street and over the years has managed to gather insights and opinions of some of the best Finance minds in the corporate world resulting in a unique learning experience.
sHRishti
Human Resources is both your greatest strength, and your worst weakness. sHRishti, the HR extravaganza has a completely disruptive format and tests the participants acumen from areas like Recruitment to Industrial Relations to Gamification. The rounds are designed in a way to keep the participants on their toes and promises to throw surprises at every stage of the event.

Make Your Mark
MYM puts the participants’ application of core marketing concepts to test, concepts which are essential for success in the world of marketing. MYM has been conceptualized in a way that participants face the heat at every stage of the event be it Market research, Branding, Re-branding, Rural Marketing and many more.
J.A.R.V.I.S
A new age in information has dawned where merely possessing data is not enough but a keen sense to comprehend it that matters.J.A.R.V.I.S has been conceptualized to challenge the analytical and situation building skills of the participant as well as put the participants into a crucible of data through live caselets and "outside the wire" analytic challenges.


Cultural Event
Xpressions
The cultural extravaganza of Atharva, Xpressions provides a platform to students to display their talents and explore their lighter side. It includes a multitude of events like VIBES - The Dance competition, Live Band performances, KHOJ -The Treasure Hunt, Coffee Chats, Point and Shoot - The Photography competition, Counter-Strike and other exciting events.

CSR Initiative
Run for a Cause
The CSR Initiative taken up by Atharva is a marathon of 4.1 km, open to the city of Manipal and Udupi. The run was dedicated to the cause of making a difference in the lives of children from Academy Higher Primary School, Manipal, a government run school which provides education to more than 100 boys and girls. This school has been well known for providing quality education with their limited resources to the under privileged sections of the society.
The funds raised through the marathon were channeled towards purchase and installation of infrastructure for the development of the school which includes improving their sanitation facilities and providing a library for the school.
